American Garage Tech – Lightning Jug Mason Jar Rig The Lightning Jug is a quart mason jar based water pipe for loose leaf smoking. The product features all food-grade parts including food grade high temp silicone seals, 304 stainless lid, borosilicate mouthpiece/downstem/bowl and a classic American flint glass quart mason jar. All materials are food grade and dishwasher safe with the exception of the lid band. Assembly Instructions Ensure all parts are clean. To clean use traditional methods or simply place all parts in dishwasher. While every effort is made to clean all parts as part of the assembly process, it is always good measure to ensure cleanliness. Insert grommets into holes in lid. Insert glass mouthpiece and down-stem by wetting the glass and sliding pieces in place while supporting the grommets from below. Push glass pieces into grommet until glass lip contacts grommet. When properly inserted, all glass pieces will be sturdy. Fill mason jar to desired water level. Place lid gasket on jar, then lid assembly on gasket, finally secure lid ring over lid to complete assembly.
